The Nintendo Switch’s Nintendo eShop is full of software gems that sometimes tend to run under the radar. We introduce you to 5 games from the Nintendo eShop that are definitely worth it!
The Nintendo Switch’s Nintendo eShop is full to bursting with AAA hits, indie titles, but also insider tips. Since the Nintendo digital store can be a bit messy at times, we’d like to introduce you to five pearls that not everyone knows, and that are sure to win you over for little money off the beaten track like Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Super Mario Maker 2.
Cadence of Hyrule
First of all we want to introduce you to the latest title, which is exclusively available in the Nintendo eShop of the Nintendo Switch and which might be more than interesting for Zelda fans. “Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda” combines the rhythmic gameplay of “Crypt of the NecroDancer” with numerous “The Legend of Zelda” contents. The indie game will take you on the role of Link or Zelda, exploring a randomly generated hyrule and competing against numerous dangers.
The uncanny charismatic looking “Hollow Knight” captivates above all with its surreal game world and the level of difficulty. You can forget a simple runaway with this Metroidvania. Skill is required to stand up to the numerous opponents. However, you can expect a real hit, which you have absolutely played msst. With “Hollow Knight. Silksong” you can even expect a sequel.
In Stardew Valley, you can really lose yourself. There is so much to discover and explore in this charming farmer role-playing game that there is always something to do. Be it taking care of your farm, crossing the nearby mine or conquering your beloved. Especially in view of the fact that you can easily spend more than 50 hours in the game and the recently added co-op mode provides additional fun with up to three friends, “Stardew Valley” is highly recommended.
“Golf Story” is also available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch and is a real insider’s tip for RPG fans who want to take a more experimental path. The role-playing game is completely dedicated to golf and so you, as an early greenhorn, try to climb the career ladder with your iron. All gameplay aspects have to do with golf: You can swing the Schlger anytime and anywhere and complete various puzzles and side quests in addition to golf games. On top of that, “Golf Story” inspires with its unmistakable humour.
Whereas Cadence of Hyrule rewrites the Zelda formula, “Blossom Tales” is an action-adventure, that completely steps into the footprints of titles like “The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past”. Zelda fans will feel right at home, even without the cult characters like Link. But “Blossom Tales” takes itself anything but serious and offers you an entertaining adventure that will definitely make the wait for the next Zelda title a thing of the past.
Of course, the Nintendo eShop offers many more pearls. Which games would you particularly recommend that are not on our list? Tell us in the comments!
