Car set on fire again in Berlin


In the night an Audi burned in Neukölln. This is the 291st vehicle to be lit this year.

Unknown persons in Berlin have once again set a car on fire. In the night to Saturday an Audi burned out almost completely in the Elbestraße in Neukölln. A Fiat parked in front of it was easily damaged by the enormous heat development.

Nobody was injured. The State Criminal Investigation Office is investigating.

According to information from the “BZ”, 279 vehicles were already on fire this year until 16 July. With the fires in the past days it should be now 291.

In 2018 as a whole, 260 cars were lit, about the same number as in 2017. (Tsp)
