The Guardian reported that U.S president Donald Trump had played a significant ‘central role’ in the hush money payments to two women who claimed to have had sexual relationships with him.
The report documented multiple instances during the 2016 elections in which the president intervened directly to suppress the stories of women who said that they were involved with him sexually. It further lamented that Playboy model Karen McDougal and Adult Film actress and Director- Stormy Daniels received payments to stay quiet about the alleged encounters.
At the president’s request, Mr. Pecker Chief Executive of American Media Inc. had reportedly offered to use his National Enquirer tabloid to but the silence of women if they tried to publicize alleged sexual relations with Mr. Trump.
Less than a year later, Trump asked Pecker to quash the story of a former Playboy model, by giving her $150, 000 to remain quiet. Similarly, the president’s former lawyer and fixer had arranged the $130, 000 payment to the adult film actress and director Ms. Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Gregory Clifford.
After the arrangement which he told prosecutors that the president had instructed him to “get done”, Cohen was reimbursed by Trump’s company.
Nevertheless, a report issued by the Wall Street Journal contradicted denials by Donald Trump and could implicate him in violations of elections law.
This news understands that Trump was directly involved in or briefed on nearly every step of the agreements since he directed deals in phone calls and meetings with his self-described fixer, Michael Cohen, and others. As such, the US Attorney’s Office in Manhattan has gathered evidence of Trump’s participation in the transactions.
